With few exceptions, girls in our culture are scripted to believe that sex is about being pleasing to men especially when it comes to his sexual pleasure. Little—if anything—is said about her capacity to feel pleasure and many women reach adulthood having never experienced orgasm or otherwise knowing the delights of her sensuality and sexuality for herself. In this spirited and empowering workshop, we’ll first explore attitudes and values around female pleasure, and then delve into ways each woman can reclaim the joys of sexual pleasure whatever her age.
